Research interests

My main research interest lie in biodiversity and conservation of plants and animals, especially islands conservation.

Current work

I'm currently working as a lab technician in the Conservation and Evolutionary Genetics Group.

Previous work

I studied Biology at University of La Laguna (Canary Islands,Spain). My BSc thesis was about the conservation of two Lotus species (Lotus berthelotii and Lotus maculatus) which are endangered, under the supervision of José Antonio Pérez Pérez from the molecular genetics and biodiversity group (University of La Laguna). The thesis was awared by the Loro Parque fundation for the best thesis about conservation on islands (2021).

After that, I did a Master's degree on Agrobiology at Universidad de Granada (Spain) and my MSc thesis was about mycorrhizae, PGPRs and abiotic stress in maize plants.
